Key Capabilities

Specialized marketing crews for CrewAI

Assign a researcher agent to `get_reportei_metrics` while your analyst agent summarizes the findings. This collaboration happens within a shared memory space. Your crew stays focused on specific tasks. One agent handles data collection, another handles the interpretation, and the final agent reports the outcome.

Automated reporting crews with CrewAI

Let your crew manage the reporting pipeline. By using `list_reportei_reports` and `create_report`, the agents ensure every client gets their update on time. They work autonomously once you set the goals. If they hit a snag, they escalate the issue to your human supervisor or log it via `add_reportei_event`.

Monitor client performance in CrewAI

Set your monitor agent to keep tabs on project health. It periodically calls `list_reportei_projects` to ensure nothing is overlooked. If the monitor detects an issue, it triggers the rest of the crew. They can verify integration status using `list_integrations` and report back to you.

Setup guide

Set up Reportei MCP in CrewAI

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • crewai package (pip install crewai)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install CrewAI

    Run pip install crewai to install the framework. MCP support is built-in via the mcps parameter.

  2. 2

    Add the MCP URL to your agent

    Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the mcps list. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically.

  3. 3

    Kick off your crew

    Create a Crew with your agent and tasks. Call crew.kickoff() — the agent will automatically invoke Reportei tools as needed.

crew.py
from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew

agent = Agent(
    role="Reportei Analyst",
    goal="Access and analyze Reportei data via MCP.",
    backstory="Expert analyst with direct Reportei access.",
    mcps=[
        "https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    ],
)

task = Task(
    description="List recent Reportei transactions",
    agent=agent,
    expected_output="A summary of recent activity",
)

crew = Crew(agents=[agent], tasks=[task])
result = crew.kickoff()
print(result)
