Key Capabilities
Automate Compliance Checks via MCP Server
Cline executes `get_emissions` to fetch total emissions and immediately pipes that data into a report generation script. You don't need GUI clicks; you just tell the agent the goal, and it does the math. It’s ideal for CI/CD pipelines where every build needs an associated sustainability metric attached. This MCP Server makes compliance checks headless.
Log Emissions Programmatically
Need to log a batch of emissions? Use the `add_emission` tool within your script. You can pass parameters like scope and category directly, making it reliable for background services. This is how you automate data entry: Instead of logging into a web portal, your code calls `add_emission(scope=2, category='energy')`, and the record appears.
Verify SkootEco Status in Terminal
Before running any heavy tasks, verify connectivity with `check_skooteco_status`. This quick command tells you if the entire SkootEco API stack is up or if there's an endpoint issue. It acts as a necessary pre-flight check for your automated scripts. You don't want half-baked code failing because of a simple connection glitch.
