Key Capabilities

Specialized Lead Research Team

Assign one agent to call `list_leads` and another to run the analysis. The 'research' agent pulls all leads, while the 'analyst' agent reviews them for status changes using `get_lead`. The crew shares memory; the initial lead list passed by one agent becomes the input data for the next specialized agent.

Coordinated Deal Pipeline Review

One agent gets the current deal details via `get_deal`, and a second agent uses that information to call `update_deal`. This ensures the action taken (updating the stage) matches the research done. The process is monitored by a third 'moderator' agent, which verifies that the update aligns with overall business rules.

Full Contact Record Assembly

Assign one agent to pull basic data via `get_contact` and another agent to fetch historical calls using `list_calls`. The crew then synthesizes this into a single, comprehensive profile. This collaborative approach builds context. You're not just retrieving data; you're assembling a full picture from multiple sources.

Setup guide

Set up Skylink MCP in CrewAI

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • crewai package (pip install crewai)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install CrewAI

    Run pip install crewai to install the framework. MCP support is built-in via the mcps parameter.

  2. 2

    Add the MCP URL to your agent

    Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the mcps list. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically.

  3. 3

    Kick off your crew

    Create a Crew with your agent and tasks. Call crew.kickoff() — the agent will automatically invoke Skylink tools as needed.

crew.py
from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew

agent = Agent(
    role="Skylink Analyst",
    goal="Access and analyze Skylink data via MCP.",
    backstory="Expert analyst with direct Skylink access.",
    mcps=[
        "https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    ],
)

task = Task(
    description="List recent Skylink transactions",
    agent=agent,
    expected_output="A summary of recent activity",
)

crew = Crew(agents=[agent], tasks=[task])
result = crew.kickoff()
print(result)

Common questions about Skylink MCP in CrewAI

You define roles for each agent. One agent might 'research' by calling `list_tasks`, and another agent is assigned the role of 'executor,' which then calls `create_task`.
The server touches contact records, deal information, call details, and task status. These elements form the basis of your collaborative operations.
Yes. One agent can detect a change using `get_account`, and another agent is instructed to execute the follow-up action via `update_lead` based on that detection.
The framework passes tool definitions from the MCP Server into the agent's shared memory. This gives every specialized agent access to the same functions, like `list_deals` or `get_account`.
The server handles contact records. You must architect your agents' roles so that sensitive PII is only viewed by the necessary specialized agent.
