Key Capabilities

Write Code to Find Guests

The `search_guests` tool lets you write a function that targets specific guests by name or email. You can't just list everyone; this narrows the scope down immediately. If you need all guest records, start by calling `list_guests`. For location-specific checks, use `list_guests_by_property`.

Build Property Status Checks

You can write a script using `get_network` to check the real-time status of any StayFi property. The function returns connectivity metrics you need for your dashboard. To get general operational data, use `get_property_stats`, which compiles various usage numbers into one clean object.

Manage and List Site Details

The `list_properties` tool gives you a list of all available StayFi locations. You can then pass any ID from that list to the `get_property` function for detailed info. Need to know which WiFi networks are active? Run `list_networks` first, and then check details with `get_network`.

Common questions about StayFi MCP in Cline

You'll use the `search_guests` tool in your code. This allows you to write a targeted query for specific guests, rather than having to pull and filter massive datasets.
Yes, just call `get_network` and provide the property ID. Your code will receive real-time data on signal strength and current status.
You use `get_analytics` to pull high-level usage numbers, but you might also need the property details from `get_property_stats` depending on your report scope.
It lets you write functions that interact with core operational systems—managing guest lists, checking network status, and pulling property details—all within your script environment. No more manual API calls.
The server handles sensitive guest information like emails (`get_email_stats`), names, and property details via `get_guest`.
