Connect AbuseIPDB MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect AbuseIPDB to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automated threat intelligence via MCP Server
Cascade doesn't wait for you to ask twice. When you spot a weird IP in your logs, Windsurf grabs it and hits the `check_ip_address` tool immediately. It reads the confidence score and decides if further action is necessary without pausing for permission. If the score comes back high, the agent automatically pulls the specific incident history using `get_ip_abuse_reports`. You get the full context of why that address was flagged, without switching tabs or running manual queries in a browser.
Continuous blacklist monitoring
Your security rules need constant updating. Instead of manually downloading bad actor lists, you can tell Windsurf to run `get_abuse_blacklist` on a schedule. The IDE fetches the top reported offenders directly from the database. Cascade then takes that raw list and writes it straight into your firewall configuration or middleware blocklist. It handles the entire update sequence autonomously, leaving you to just review the Git diff.
Instant health checks
API outages break automation scripts fast. Before Windsurf starts a massive log analysis task, it fires off `check_api_status` to confirm the external service is actually awake. That simple pre-flight check prevents half-finished tasks. If the connection fails, Cascade pauses the workflow and alerts you, rather than blindly failing on every subsequent IP lookup.
