Build Dashboards with Live Data

This server gives your agent access to your projects and tasks. Use the `list_projects` and `list_tasks` tools to pull real-time status information directly from your AdaptiveWork account. Cline doesn't just show you the data. Tell it to "build a React component that displays all active tasks for the 'API V2' project." Cline will fetch the data using the MCP tools and then write the actual component code for you right in your editor.

Automate Project Admin in Cline

The `create_task` tool lets your agent programmatically add new tasks to your projects. This is perfect for hooking into your existing development scripts. Imagine telling Cline, "After this deployment script runs successfully, create a task in the 'QA Review' project to verify the changes." Cline will instrument your script to call the MCP tool, connecting your code directly to your project management.

Query AdaptiveWork for Code Gen

The `run_query` tool is your direct line to the Clarizen database. It accepts any valid CZQL query, so you can pull exactly the dataset you need for any task. Use this to have Cline write data-aware code. For example: "Write a Python script that uses `run_query` to find all unassigned tasks and prints them to the console." Cline will generate a working script that integrates with this MCP Server.

Open the Cline sidebar in VS Code and click the MCP Servers icon. You can install it from the Marketplace tab or add the server URL directly in the Remote Servers tab. Cline will connect and see the tools immediately.
Yes, that's what it's built for. You can ask Cline to write a script that calls `list_projects` or `run_query`, processes the JSON output, and then performs some action with that data.
Cline doesn't just fetch information, it builds with it. While other agents might show you a list of tasks, you can tell Cline to take that list and write the code for a UI component, a test file, or an integration script.
You can view users. The `list_users` tool gets a list of all people in your AdaptiveWork organization so you can check resource assignments from within VS Code.
Yes. Your connection to the MCP server is sandboxed and managed by Vinkius. Cline processes your project, task, and user data locally inside your VS Code instance to generate code. That data is not stored on any third-party servers.
