Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect AdaptiveWork (Clarizen) MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect AdaptiveWork (Clarizen) to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Scope Out Projects Instantly
The `list_projects` tool gives you a quick overview of what's active. From there, you can dig into any specific project to see its structure and progress. Instead of running commands one by one, you just tell Windsurf's Cascade what you need. Ask it, "Give me a full breakdown of the Q3 launch project," and it will chain `get_project_details` and `list_tasks` on its own to give you a complete picture.
Create and Assign Work Autonomously
The `create_task` tool adds a new granular task to any project. You just need to know the parent project or task ID. This gets powerful with Cascade. You can say, "Add a 'Review final mockups' task to the website redesign project." Windsurf can figure out the project ID, create the task with `create_task`, and even use `list_users` to suggest who to assign it to, all in one flow.
Custom Reports with this MCP Server
This MCP server exposes a `run_query` tool that executes raw Clarizen Query Language (CZQL). It's the key to getting very specific data out of your account. But you don't need to learn CZQL. Just ask Windsurf a question in plain English, like "Show me all high-priority tasks that are behind schedule." It translates your request, runs the `run_query` command, and gives you back a clean answer.
