Windsurf pulls live weather data via MCP Server
Cascade can grab real-time observations and forecasts without you leaving the editor. Just tell it the location, and `get_observations` provides the current conditions you need to debug location-based logic. Stop switching windows to check external reports. Windsurf handles the data retrieval, letting you focus on writing code that reacts to changing environmental variables.
Build automated reports with Windsurf
Use `get_batch` to fire off multiple requests in one go. Cascade organizes the output, pulling historical data and minutely precipitation forecasts into your active session. This saves you from manual data entry when you need to test how your app handles various weather states. It just works while you watch the logs.
Pinpoint locations for your code
Need precise coordinates or station IDs for your application? `get_places` finds the exact geographical metadata you need to feed your functions. Windsurf takes this data and applies it to your project files immediately. No more hard-coding values when you can fetch them on the fly.
