Connect Agora MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Agora to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate functional Agora code in Cursor
Stop writing mock data structures when building your video chat features. Cursor runs `get_project_details` in Agent mode via this MCP server to pull your actual environment parameters, letting the editor write code that matches your live infrastructure. Instead of guessing schema shapes, your Cursor agent queries `list_projects` to generate exact configuration files. Your code works on the first run because it uses real-time context from your console.
Debug active recording states in the editor
Troubleshooting a stuck recording usually means digging through terminal logs. Cursor bypasses that headache by using MCP tools to call `query_cloud_recording` directly from your chat sidebar to show you the exact state of your S3 upload. If a recording fails to boot, your agent inspects the sequence. It checks if `acquire_cloud_recording` ran successfully before trying to call `start_cloud_recording`, pinpointing the exact line of code causing the timeout.
Monitor live server load while writing code
Keep an eye on production traffic without switching to a web browser. Cursor queries `list_active_calls` to show you how many users are currently in your channels while you work on scaling your backend. If you need to verify whiteboard integrations, your agent pulls active sessions using `list_whiteboard_rooms`. You can write your cleanup cron jobs using actual, live room IDs instead of hardcoded strings.
