Fetch real-time sensor data into Cline
`get_temperature_sensor` pulls live climate readings directly into Cline so you can bind real-world data to your UI components. The tool fetches exact numeric values from physical sensors without requiring manual mock data. Cline reads these active inputs to build, test, and render live dashboard widgets inside VS Code. You get a fully functional interface wired to real physical hardware in seconds.
Update room assignments and device names
`update_device_room` changes unit assignments using endpoint IDs and unit IDs from your smart properties account. This tool lets Cline reorganize your hardware registry during deployment scripts or setup tasks. Cline uses this alongside `update_alexa_device_name` to synchronize your physical office layout with your software configuration. The agent modifies the settings, runs verification tests, and updates your local documentation.
Hardware state verification
`get_thermostat_state` reads the target temperature, operating mode, and current settings of your climate controls. Cline uses this tool to check the physical environment before executing automated scripts. By querying `get_power_state`, the agent confirms whether target devices are online. If a light is off, Cline can run `turn_on_alexa_device` to fix the state before running your layout tests.
