Audit Apache APISIX Configurations inside Cline
This MCP Server uses `dump_control_routes` and `dump_control_services` to pull your live production gateway state into Cline. The agent reads this configuration, compares it against your local workspace files, and highlights any drift. You can instruct Cline to synchronize the states, and it will generate the necessary JSON payloads and execute `put_route` to match your local repository. It displays a clean diff in VS Code before applying the changes.
Automated Plugin Configuration Testing
The `put_plugin_config` and `get_control_schema` tools allow Cline to write and test your gateway plugin setups locally. The agent writes your plugin configurations to disk, validates them against the live schemas, and runs local curl tests to ensure they work. If a test fails, Cline modifies the plugin parameters in your workspace and redeploys them. You see the entire trial-and-error loop resolve directly inside your VS Code terminal.
L4 and L7 Stream Route Provisioning
You can configure low-level network rules using `put_stream_route` and `put_ssl` through the MCP Server in Cline. The agent analyzes your TCP/UDP traffic requirements, generates the correct stream configurations, and binds the certificates. Cline handles the entire setup, from writing the YAML definitions to executing the Admin API calls. It ensures your Layer 4 and Layer 7 gateway settings remain perfectly aligned.
