…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect AutoGen MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect AutoGen to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject MCP Server skills into code
The `list_skills` tool pulls your active Python functions straight into Cursor. Your AI client reads the exact signatures of what your AutoGen agents can do. It then writes the correct integration code based on reality, not assumptions. Mapping the right language models happens through `list_models`. Cursor sees exactly which LLMs are configured in your environment. You stop hardcoding model names that don't exist in your current setup.
Debug active sessions
Hitting a wall with a failing agent loop? The `list_messages` tool fetches the raw history of any specific AutoGen session. Cursor analyzes the back-and-forth between agents right alongside your script. Finding the right session requires the `list_sessions` tool. Your agent scans the active AutoGen Studio runs to locate the exact conversation you want to inspect. When a thread gets stuck in a loop, `delete_session` kills it.
Configure agents on the fly
Running `create_agent` lets Cursor define new AutoGen roles while you write the surrounding application logic. You describe the persona you need, and the editor generates the exact configuration. The setup matches your codebase perfectly. Discovering existing roles works through `list_agents`. You verify which personas are already available before writing duplicate code. Checking `list_workflows` confirms the predefined patterns those agents can use.
