How to Use the Backblaze B2 MCP in Cline
Put Cline to work managing Backblaze B2 buckets and purging dead file versions directly from your VS Code sidebar.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Backblaze B2 MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Backblaze B2 to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline Provisions and Audits Backblaze B2 Storage
Through `list_buckets`, Cline pulls your active Backblaze B2 partitions to verify their configurations directly inside the Cline sidebar. Whenever your local codebase needs a new storage target, the Cline agent runs `create_bucket` to spin up a Backblaze B2 partition immediately.
Inspect B2 Metadata and Versions via Cline MCP Server
Triggering `get_file_info` retrieves precise headers and checksums for any stored Backblaze B2 object within the Cline interface. Our Cline agent matches these Backblaze B2 checksums against your local files to verify that uploads completed without corruption.
Cline Automatically Clears Stalled Multipart Uploads
If you run `list_unfinished_large_files`, Cline locates stalled Backblaze B2 multipart upload chunks left behind by broken pipelines in Cline. Once identified, the Cline agent pinpoints the stalled Backblaze B2 aggregate files to prevent billing surprises.
