Connect Bandcamp MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Bandcamp to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate code with real Bandcamp API data
The `search` tool pulls live artist, album, and track data directly into Cursor's Agent mode. Instead of writing code with fake stubs or mock JSON, your editor uses actual responses to build your music-focused applications via MCP. Cursor reads the structured output to understand the exact shape of the artist and fan profiles. This makes writing custom music players or discography widgets faster because your agent writes code against live data.
Scrape and parse album pages inside your editor
The `get_page_data` tool extracts tracks, pricing, and embedded metadata from any Bandcamp URL you feed to Cursor. Your editor uses this structured data to populate local databases or test your parsing scripts. You don't have to write custom web scrapers or look up HTML selectors. Cursor calls this tool to get clean JSON from album and track pages, speeding up your local development pipeline.
Build music discovery tools with Cursor MCP Server
The `discover_music` tool lets Cursor query specific genre tags to fetch independent albums for your app. Your agent combines this with `get_tags` to ensure your code queries valid musical categories. By integrating this MCP Server, Cursor can write functions that automatically fetch best-selling or recommended releases. Your editor tests these functions using live data from `get_best_selling` and `get_recommended` as you write them.
