Connect Bannerbear (Image Gen) MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Bannerbear (Image Gen) to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build image-aware components
This MCP server lets Cline build UIs that depend on dynamic images. Tell Cline to create a user profile card, and it won't just write the code. It can use the `create_image` tool to generate a personalized welcome banner on the fly. The result is a complete component, with live, generated assets already wired up. Cline writes the code to call the API, generate the image, and display it, then shows you the diff.
Manage templates from your editor
You can interact with your Bannerbear templates without switching context. Ask Cline to 'list available templates for the marketing site,' and it uses `list_templates` to fetch them instantly. Once you have the list, you can tell Cline to use a specific template's ID for a new feature it's building. It keeps your development workflow inside the editor, where it belongs.
Generate test data and previews
Building a new gallery or product list requires images. Instead of hunting for placeholders, just tell Cline to generate them for you. It's a faster way to get realistic assets for development. Cline uses the `create_collection` tool to generate a whole set of images based on one of your templates. You get a full directory of previews or test images in seconds.
