How to Use the Bannerbear (Image Gen) MCP in Cursor
Inject real Bannerbear assets into your code using Cursor agent mode.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Bannerbear (Image Gen) MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Bannerbear (Image Gen) to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate visuals via Cursor
Call `create_image` from your chat panel to generate marketing assets while you code. The server returns the final image URL for immediate testing. This workflow lets you see your production designs inside your editor environment. You stop guessing what the output looks like.
Fetch template data in Cursor
Query your library with `list_templates` to get a list of all active designs. It shows you the exact template IDs required for your code. Use `get_template` to inspect the schema of a specific layout. You get the field names directly in the chat, allowing you to build your data structures faster.
Automate video creation with Cursor
Request `create_video` through the agent to start rendering your video templates. It handles the heavy lifting so you can focus on your logic. Your code gets the asset status back as soon as it's ready. You can then use those URLs to populate your application interfaces.
