Pull live project specs into Cursor
This MCP Server pipes your actual Basecamp product specs straight into your editor's context window. Developers hate switching tabs to read project requirements. You write code while the agent reads the source of truth. Tell Cursor to build a feature based on the latest spec. The agent runs `get_project` and `list_messages` to read the exact requirements your product manager posted yesterday. It writes the implementation using real parameters instead of guessing.
Basecamp MCP Server for Cursor
This MCP Server fetches exact production data while you type. You don't have to waste time generating fake JSON for your internal dashboards. Your AI client can grab the real records immediately. When you build a UI component for tasks, Agent mode triggers `list_todolists` and `list_todos`. Cursor writes the React props based on the actual JSON structure returned by Basecamp. The code works on the first run.
Read chat history for context
Reading team chats directly in Cursor requires this integration. Sometimes the technical decisions live entirely in informal channels. Finding that one specific backend discussion takes forever if you do it manually. Ask your agent why the database schema changed. It fires off `list_campfire_lines` to scan the dev channel. You get the exact quotes from your senior engineer right next to the code you are editing.
