How to Use the Beeceptor MCP in Cursor
Inject live API mocks and request data into your code files using Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Beeceptor MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Beeceptor to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate mock rules in Cursor
Define your API behavior by calling `create_rule` directly from the chat. You can keep your mock logic in sync with your codebase by using `update_rule_full` as you iterate. When your test environment needs a shift, `reorder_rules` lets you adjust precedence. It keeps your local development flow moving.
Inspect traffic inside Cursor
Debug your live endpoints by calling `list_requests` to see what just hit the proxy. Use `get_request` to pull the raw payload into your editor for analysis. Cleaning up is simple. You can trigger `delete_requests` to reset your history after a successful test run.
Manage state and specs in Cursor
Use `upsert_state` to set up your test data dynamically. If you have an OpenAPI spec to define, `upload_spec` makes it available to your endpoints immediately. This MCP Server handles the heavy lifting of state management. You just tell the AI what state you need, and it calls the right tool.
