Query testing workspaces with Google ADK

The `list_workspaces` tool maps your entire testing footprint inside the Headless BlazeMeter Platform. Your agent combines this with `list_projects` to extract structural project boundaries and feed them into your Vertex AI pipelines. Having Gemini's massive context window means you can dump every single workspace structure into memory. The agent maps dependencies using these enterprise-grade MCP tools without hitting token limits or losing track of nested projects.

Drive load generation via MCP Server

The `start_test` tool triggers load generation validations that feed rich performance metrics back to your agent. To track progress, `get_master` dispatches validation checks to route the explicit run status of your active Gateway. You can route these incoming metrics directly to a BigQuery table using native Google ADK integrations. This lets you run historical regression analyses on your performance data over time.

Inspect complex test reports

The `get_report` tool pulls internal arrays to analyze specific Plan Math Reports. If you need to audit user profiles, `get_user` parses native identity arrays to see who ran what. This setup avoids manual CSV exports. Your agent reads the raw JSON payload, extracts the performance bottlenecks, and alerts your engineering team over Slack.

Setup guide

Set up BlazeMeter MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with BlazeMeter tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="BlazeMeter_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to BlazeMeter tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about BlazeMeter MCP in Google ADK

Install the ADK and instantiate McpToolset using your Vinkius HTTP server parameters. Pass the toolset directly to your LlmAgent to expose all ten tools.
Yes. You can use the optional tool_names filter in the ADK setup to expose only read-only tools like list_tests while blocking destructive actions like stop_master.
The long-context window allows Gemini to ingest large JSON payloads from get_report and list_masters simultaneously. It can analyze thousands of performance metrics in a single turn.
Yes, your agent uses get_test to retrieve explicit configurations tracing active Vault limit tests. It reads the structural JSON payload directly from the BlazeMeter platform.
Credentials reside securely in the Vinkius vault and are injected only at runtime. The V8 Isolate sandbox ensures your performance metrics and workspace metadata remain isolated, with zero data retention on the host.
