How to Use the Blockscout MCP in Cursor
Inject real-time Ethereum data into your code using Blockscout and Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Blockscout MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Blockscout to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fetch live chain data in Cursor
Write code that reacts to real blockchain events. Use `get_logs` or `get_account_balance` to feed fresh data directly into your editor's context. The AI writes your implementation based on the actual JSON response. You stop guessing what the API looks like and start building against the real thing.
Debug contracts using Cursor
Point your agent at a deployed contract to pull its ABI. Tools like `get_contract_abi` ensure the AI knows the exact function signatures you need to call. It saves you from manually formatting interface files. The agent reads the source and writes your wrapper logic in seconds.
Verify transaction history in Cursor
Run `get_transaction` to inspect specific execution details while you write your tests. The tool returns the full metadata you need to validate your logic. Your code references these real-world results immediately. It creates a tight feedback loop between the ledger and your editor.
