Multi-Agent BugSnag MCP Server Triage Teams

CrewAI coordinates multiple agents to manage your production errors over this MCP Server. One agent monitors incoming issues with `list_errors` while another runs deep diagnostics on specific failures. The diagnostics agent calls `get_event` to analyze stack traces and passes the root cause directly to a developer agent.

Autonomous Release Diagnostics

This MCP Server allows your CrewAI team to audit new deployments without human intervention. A release agent calls `list_release_stages` to identify active environments. It then collaborates with a QA agent to verify stability metrics via `get_project_stats` before marking a deployment as safe.

Organization-Wide Access Auditing

Let a security agent and an admin agent run automated compliance checks. The security agent calls `list_organizations` to map your infrastructure. It cross-references this with `list_collaborators` to flag inactive accounts that still have access to your BugSnag projects.

Setup guide

Set up BugSnag MCP in CrewAI

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • crewai package (pip install crewai)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install CrewAI

    Run pip install crewai to install the framework. MCP support is built-in via the mcps parameter.

  2. 2

    Add the MCP URL to your agent

    Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the mcps list. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically.

  3. 3

    Kick off your crew

    Create a Crew with your agent and tasks. Call crew.kickoff() — the agent will automatically invoke BugSnag tools as needed.

crew.py
from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew

agent = Agent(
    role="BugSnag Analyst",
    goal="Access and analyze BugSnag data via MCP.",
    backstory="Expert analyst with direct BugSnag access.",
    mcps=[
        "https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    ],
)

task = Task(
    description="List recent BugSnag transactions",
    agent=agent,
    expected_output="A summary of recent activity",
)

crew = Crew(agents=[agent], tasks=[task])
result = crew.kickoff()
print(result)

Common questions about BugSnag MCP in CrewAI

Pass the Vinkius HTTP URL directly into the `mcps` array of your CrewAI Agent definition to give them instant access to BugSnag tools.
Yes. A coordinator agent can read errors using `list_errors` and cross-reference them with team members fetched via `list_collaborators` to assign tasks.
CrewAI agents use shared memory. When one agent fetches an error with `get_error`, the next agent instantly accesses that context to analyze the stack trace.
Yes. Use `MCPServerHTTP` from `crewai.mcp` with a `tool_filter` to expose only read-only tools like `get_project_stats` to your agents.
Vinkius manages your BugSnag credentials in a zero-trust, ephemeral sandbox, ensuring your error logs and collaborator lists remain completely private.
