Connect BugSnag MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect BugSnag to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fix active crashes directly in your Cursor editor
The `get_event` tool feeds raw BugSnag crash payloads directly into Cursor's Agent mode. Your editor reads the exact stack trace and immediately generates a targeted code fix in your active file. Because the agent runs `get_error` to see the broader error group, it doesn't just patch a symptom. It analyzes the full history of the crash to write a permanent solution.
Monitor project health with this MCP Server
The `list_errors` tool retrieves the latest unresolved issues for your current project. Cursor displays this active bug list right next to your codebase so you can prioritize what to write next. Your agent can run `get_project_stats` to verify if your local changes will address the most frequent crashes. You write code against real production metrics instead of guesswork.
Contextualize errors across release stages
The `list_release_stages` tool identifies which environments are throwing the most errors. Cursor uses this information to determine if a bug is a local configuration issue or a production blocker. By calling `list_projects`, your editor matches your current local directory to the correct BugSnag project. This ensures the agent never pulls crash data from the wrong repository.
