End-to-end booking workflows with Cline
The `create_new_booking` tool in this MCP Server allows your VS Code agent to schedule meetings based on your project needs. You tell Cline to set up a pair programming session with a contributor. It checks your calendar, picks a time, and creates the event. The agent handles the entire sequence. It pulls your current working hours using `list_availability_schedules` to ensure it picks a valid slot. If the contributor cancels, Cline runs `cancel_booking` to clear your schedule.
Build scheduling interfaces fast
The `list_event_types` tool feeds your booking template data straight into your codebase. You prompt the agent to build a custom contact page. Cline fetches your active meeting types and generates the React components to display them. It reads the specific configuration of each template via `get_event_type_details`. The agent writes the code, imports the necessary API hooks, and shows you the diff right in your editor.
Audit your Cal.com MCP Server webhooks
The `list_active_webhooks` tool lets the agent inspect where your scheduling events get sent. You ask Cline to verify your logging pipeline. It grabs the webhook endpoints and checks them against your environment variables. You do not have to dig through browser settings. The agent uses `test_cal_auth` to confirm the connection is active, pulls the configuration data, and writes a test script to validate the payload structure.
