Connect Canto MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Canto to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Read Canto metadata straight into VS Code
Building a gallery component means you need real Canto data, not placeholders. Cline grabs that data before it writes a single line of code. You ask for the latest marketing assets, and the agent runs `global_asset_search` to find them. Once it has the IDs, the agent executes `get_image_metadata`. It extracts the structural properties—width, height, focal points—and uses them to generate perfectly typed TypeScript interfaces for your frontend.
Structure directories with the Canto MCP Server
Developers hate managing digital asset managers. You can offload that entirely to your IDE. Tell Cline to archive last year's campaign, and it handles the routing. The agent maps out the current space using `list_canto_folders`. It fires `create_canto_album` to build the archive destination, then loops `assign_asset_album` to migrate the assets. You never have to leave the editor.
Clean up deprecated media files
Dead Canto assets clog up your CDNs and slow down builds. Cline can identify and remove them while it refactors your code. If it sees an image is no longer referenced in your repository, it takes action. The agent verifies the target using `get_album_assets` to ensure it has the right payload ID. Then it triggers `wipe_media_asset` to drop the live database bytes permanently. It writes the commit and removes the file from Canto in one pass.
