How to Use the Canto MCP in Cursor
Inject live Canto asset data into your code using Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Canto MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Canto to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct Canto asset lookups in Cursor
Stop using mock data for your frontend components. Use `global_asset_search` to find real images and `get_image_metadata` to pull the actual dimensions into your code. Cursor reads the tool output and writes the code for you. It's much faster than manually copying JSON from the dashboard.
Manage Canto structures from Cursor
Automate your asset pipeline by calling `create_canto_folder` directly from your editor. You can script your entire asset import process without leaving your terminal. If you need to reorganize, `assign_asset_album` handles the logic. It keeps your creative database consistent with your project files.
Clean up Canto media inside Cursor
Dead assets clutter up your project. Run `wipe_media_asset` to remove them instantly. It keeps your database footprint small and relevant. This MCP Server provides the hooks you need to keep your library tidy. You'll see the results in real-time as your code updates.
