Build custom deal dashboards with Cline
The CheapShark MCP Server exposes active retail data directly to your coding agent. Cline uses `get_deals` to fetch real-time game discounts, then writes the frontend code to display them. Instead of manual API testing, your agent drafts the components, fetches live data, and verifies the output. You get working code populated with actual retail figures.
Resolve storefronts and game metadata
Mapping raw store IDs to actual retail names is handled via `get_stores` on this MCP server. Cline calls this tool to translate numeric database keys into recognizable brands. When users search for specific titles, the agent triggers `search_games` to find matches. It then pulls historical pricing via `get_game` to show how good the current discount is.
Manage user subscriptions for price drops
The `manage_alert` tool allows your agent to configure email notifications for price drops on this MCP Server. Cline can build a complete subscription form and hook it up to this backend action. Users get notified the moment a game dips below their budget. The agent handles the validation, API calls, and success states in your application.
