Run background checks from your CLI via MCP Server

Claude Code brings candidate screening directly to your terminal, letting you find candidates with `list_checkr_candidates` or start a new check using `start_background_check`. This terminal-focused MCP Server lets you pipe candidate IDs directly into shell scripts, automating your screening pipeline from any command-line environment.

Query screening reports in headless environments

When running automated cron jobs, Claude Code uses `list_background_reports` to check the status of your candidates and pulls down details with `get_report_details`. You can automate your daily hiring audits by having the agent run shell commands that check for completed background screens and alert your team to flagged reports.

Manage candidate records via shell commands

Claude Code uses `create_new_candidate` and `get_candidate_details` to sync your terminal workspace with your live screening queue. The agent checks available screening options using `list_screening_packages`, letting you verify that your automated scripts are ordering the correct tier of background checks.
