How to Use the Checkr MCP in Cursor
Inject live candidate data into your code using the Checkr MCP Server inside Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Checkr MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Checkr to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Checkr data for Cursor agent workflows
Write code that reacts to real applicant data by calling `list_checkr_candidates`. The agent fetches the JSON response and lets you work with it immediately. This removes the need for mock data files. You get the actual schema from your account inside your editor.
Automate screening with Cursor
Use `start_background_check` to trigger actions based on your internal logic. You can build a custom hiring pipeline that runs right from your editor. It works by passing the correct ID to the tool. The agent handles the API call while you focus on the logic.
Get report details inside Cursor
Fetch specific report data using `get_report_details` to verify application outcomes. You can parse these results to build custom dashboards or alerts. Everything stays within the editor context. You don't have to leave your IDE to check if a screening finished.
