Enterprise test analysis via Google ADK

`list_executions` and `get_execution` feed raw, deep interaction tracking logs directly into your Google ADK agent. Because Gemini handles massive token contexts, your agent digests months of execution history to spot flaky tests. The agent correlates these execution logs with your BigQuery datasets using this MCP Server. You get a direct line from your cloud infrastructure to your QA suite.

Map complex test projects and environments

`list_projects` and `get_project` let your agent extract explicit project mapping UUIDs and analyze execution spaces. The Google ADK agent uses this data to organize test suites across massive enterprise setups. By calling `list_environments`, the agent discovers static target layers and maps them directly to your Google Cloud staging environments. This ensures your automated runs always target the correct infrastructure.

Verify API tests and run suites on demand

`list_api_tests` extracts OpenAPI testing configurations while `trigger_run` dispatches live testing commands against your CI/CD pipelines. Your agent triggers these runs automatically when a new build lands in Vertex AI. The agent uses `list_suites` and `list_cases` to map out the entire testing surface. It checks that your REST endpoints match the registered cases without requiring manual verification.

Setup guide

Set up ContextQA MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with ContextQA tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="ContextQA_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to ContextQA tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about ContextQA MCP in Google ADK

Install google-adk and use the McpToolset class with your Vinkius HTTP transport URL. Pass this toolset into your LlmAgent constructor to instantly expose all ten testing tools.
Yes. You can use the optional tool_names parameter in the McpToolset configuration to restrict access. For example, you can expose only `list_executions` and `get_execution` to prevent the agent from triggering runs.
Your agent can ingest entire test suites retrieved via `list_suites` along with detailed run logs from `list_executions`. Gemini processes these large payloads at once to find complex bugs that span multiple test files.
Yes. Your Google ADK agent can listen for deployment events and immediately call `trigger_run` to validate the new model against your test suite.
Vinkius executes the MCP Server within an ephemeral, zero-trust sandbox. Your credentials and test configurations are handled securely through a single endpoint token, ensuring Google ADK never exposes sensitive API keys.
