How to Use the ContextQA MCP in Windsurf
Cascade chains ContextQA tools to validate your test suites and trigger live runs directly inside Windsurf.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect ContextQA MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect ContextQA to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Run automated tests from Windsurf
Cascade can call `trigger_run` to kick off your test pipelines without you switching windows. You just state the goal and watch the agent pipe the output back into your current session. This MCP Server handles the heavy lifting of tracking states. Your agent uses `get_execution` to see exactly what happened during the last pass.
Map test environments in Windsurf
Use `list_environments` to see every target layer currently active in your infrastructure. It keeps your workspace synced with the actual state of your testing environment. Windsurf pulls in your project mapping with `get_project` so you never lose track of where your tests live. The agent knows the boundaries of your system before it writes a single line of code.
Extract API configurations for Windsurf
Stop digging through docs and let `list_api_tests` pull your REST and OpenAPI configs. You get the raw structure right inside your editor, ready for inspection. Your agent uses `list_suites` to grab the test payloads you need. It puts the data exactly where you want it, making your manual testing tasks feel like background noise.
