…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Creatomate MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Creatomate to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Browse Creatomate templates from Windsurf
Cascade doesn't need you to hunt down asset IDs in a separate browser tab. When you want to build a new video workflow, your agent pulls everything straight into your editor using `list_video_templates` and `list_media_assets`. You just tell Windsurf to find the right base for a social media clip. It runs `search_templates_by_name` to grab the exact one, then uses `get_template_details` to map out the dynamic fields you need to populate.
Trigger and track renders autonomously
Generating a video usually involves a lot of waiting and checking back. Cascade chains the entire process together using this MCP integration by calling `render_video` with your modified template fields, then automatically polling `get_render_status`. Once the render finishes, your IDE has the final URL ready to use in your codebase. If something goes wrong or you need to see what ran overnight, `list_recent_renders` pulls that history right into your chat window.
Connect this MCP Server to your automation
Building complex video pipelines requires knowing how your workspace is configured. Windsurf pulls your environment defaults using `get_project_settings` before it starts modifying files. From there, your agent can review existing setups via `list_video_automations`. It understands the current video architecture and writes the exact integration code you need without breaking what already works.
