How to Use the Cvent MCP in Cursor
Build custom event dashboards in Cursor using live Cvent API data instead of static mock files.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Cvent MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Cvent to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate code in Cursor using live Cvent schema data
This MCP Server lets your agent run `get_account_details` to fetch your actual organization settings and structure your code around live data. If you are building a custom registration page, Cursor can query `list_registration_types` to generate UI components that map perfectly to your active pricing tiers.
Map out venue logistics directly inside Cursor
Fetching exact address metadata and venue names becomes straightforward when Cursor calls `list_available_venues` using this MCP Server. Cursor uses this live log of locations to populate your dropdown menus and map integrations. You write functional code faster because the AI tests its own output against real endpoints.
Debug event schedule integrations with real-time API calls
Debugging schedules is easier when your editor runs `list_event_sessions` to pull active time blocks directly into your active workspace. By comparing the output with `get_event_details`, your agent spots missing time slots or capacity mismatches in your code instantly. No more manual API testing in external programs.
