Connect D-ID MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect D-ID to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Video UIs, Not Just Code
Stop mocking API data and use the real thing. Tell Cline to build a status page for your video rendering jobs. It will use the `list_talks` tool to fetch live data from your D-ID account and write a component that displays it. Cline doesn't just write the code; it builds the feature. It can create the file, import the necessary functions, write the component with real data, and then stage the result for you to review. You go from a prompt to a working UI.
Generate Content from the IDE
You don't need to open a browser to create a new video. With this MCP server connected, you can instruct Cline directly in VS Code. Just say, "Create a D-ID talk with this script," and it will use `create_talk` to start the job. Cline gives you back the talk ID immediately. You can then use that ID to track the video's progress with the `get_talk` tool, all without breaking your coding rhythm.
Your Cline MCP Server Tools
Integrate D-ID resource management right into your development workflow. Before kicking off a big job, have Cline check your balance with `get_credits`. It's a simple guardrail to prevent API errors in production. When you're building a UI that lets users pick an avatar, you can ask Cline to fetch the list of options using `list_presenters`. It will get the data so you can use it to populate a dropdown or image gallery in the component you're working on.
