How to Use the D-ID MCP in Cursor
Inject talking avatar generation into your code with the D-ID MCP Server for Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect D-ID MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect D-ID to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build video features in Cursor
Call `create_talk` to generate avatar-based videos directly while you code. This lets you test video integration without leaving your editor. You can feed your own images to the engine using `upload_image` to ensure the avatar matches your specific project requirements.
Automate avatar status checks
Use `get_talk` to poll for completion status when generating videos in the background. This allows your agent to handle the heavy lifting while you focus on logic. If the creation fails, the tool provides error status feedback immediately. You can then debug or retry the request without changing your environment.
Manage presenters inside Cursor
Query the available stock characters with `list_presenters` to find the right look for your UI. This helps you prototype video features faster. You can also verify your account status with `get_credits` before running batch jobs to avoid unexpected failures.
