How to Use the Dashly MCP in Cline
Cline builds custom dashboards and support flows by executing Dashly tools directly in your VS Code environment.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Dashly MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Dashly to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline executes support workflows
Tell Cline to check your inbox and it uses `list_conversations` to find recent activity. It pulls the data into your workspace so you can read it. Need to answer someone? Cline triggers `send_reply` to finish the job. It handles the back-and-forth while you focus on the code.
Sync user details with Cline
Cline fetches specific profiles using `get_user_details` when you ask about a customer. It keeps the info right next to your project files. You can also refine your segmentation. Use `set_user_props` to update their status based on the logic you just wrote.
Log user activity via MCP Server
Your MCP Server allows Cline to fire `track_event` whenever a user hits a specific milestone in your app. It automates the tracking setup. This keeps your analytics clean without manual entry. Cline makes sure every event trigger is tied to the correct user ID.
