How to Use the DataDome MCP in Cline
Tell Cline to build a status dashboard. It'll use this MCP server to pull live DataDome stats, write the component, and show you the diff.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect DataDome MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect DataDome to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Live Security Dashboards
Ask Cline to create a real-time dashboard for your team's status page. It can call `get_protection_stats` to get live counts of blocked requests and captcha rates. Cline will then write the front-end code to display this data, import it into your project, and even write a test for the new component. You just provide the prompt.
Generate Incident Reports
When a new threat pops up, tell Cline to 'document the latest scraper attack.' It will use `search_threats_by_type` to find relevant incidents. Then, it will loop through the results, call `get_threat_details` for each one, and format the output into a clean Markdown file. The report is generated and saved in your project automatically.
Automate Audits with the Cline MCP Server
You can create automated repo maintenance tasks with Cline. For example, a task that runs `list_custom_bot_rules` and compares the output against a list of approved rules in a local file. Cline can perform the check, flag any discrepancies, and create a new issue in your project's issue tracker, all from a single command. It's a security audit that runs itself.
