How to Use the Decodo (Smartproxy) MCP in Cline
Cline handles your proxy infrastructure by executing tasks directly against your Decodo account.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Decodo (Smartproxy) MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Decodo (Smartproxy) to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct proxy management for Cline
Tell Cline to check your bandwidth and it handles the rest. It calls `get_traffic_usage` to give you a real-time report on your current consumption levels. Monitoring scraper performance is just as simple. Cline uses `get_scraper_stats` to pull the latest success rates and error counts, allowing you to react to issues before they hit your production environment.
Configure proxy networks with Cline
Need to rotate your infrastructure? Cline calls `list_datacenter_proxies` to generate a fresh list of available nodes for your next deployment. Setting up new endpoints happens automatically. You ask Cline to prepare your connection string, and it executes `list_proxy_endpoints` to grab the necessary configuration details for your code.
Audit your account using Cline
Cline keeps an eye on your team's access. By running `list_sub_users`, it provides a list of every user currently tied to your primary account. Your subscription status is always visible. Cline queries `list_subscriptions` to confirm your plan limits and expiration dates, ensuring your infrastructure stays active.
