How to Use the Decodo (Smartproxy) MCP in Cursor
Inject live Decodo (Smartproxy) proxy configurations directly into your code using Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Decodo (Smartproxy) MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Decodo (Smartproxy) to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Embed live proxy endpoints in your scripts
Hardcoding proxy URLs leads to broken scrapers when IPs rotate. This MCP Server pulls your actual active endpoints while you write the connection logic. Calling `list_proxy_endpoints` fetches the exact hostnames and ports your account currently owns. The editor writes the connection strings using real data instead of placeholder text.
Validate scraper configurations via MCP Server
Writing a new web extraction script requires knowing your current success rates. Your editor can check your recent API performance before you push changes. The `get_scraper_stats` tool returns your recent hit rates and failure counts. You see exactly where your current logic is failing right next to the code you need to fix.
Monitor traffic limits during development
Testing high-volume requests locally can accidentally drain your monthly bandwidth allowance. You can ask your editor to check your balance mid-keystroke. Using `get_traffic_usage`, the agent reads your exact gigabyte consumption. If you are burning too much data in a loop, you catch it before maxing out your plan.
