…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect DEV.to MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect DEV.to to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate your DEV.to publishing flow
Cascade doesn't just suggest edits; it handles the heavy lifting of your technical writing. Use `create_article` to push your local markdown directly to the platform without leaving your editor. Once the content is live, you can refine your post by calling `update_article` to fix typos or adjust technical snippets. It keeps your development and publishing workflows in the same window.
Monitor community interaction with Windsurf
Stay on top of reader feedback without checking a browser tab. Cascade uses `get_comments` to pull the latest discussions into your workspace so you can reply to technical questions immediately. If you need to check how your articles are performing, you can run `get_my_published_articles` to verify engagement. It turns your IDE into a command center for your community presence.
Curate your reading list with this MCP Server
Keep your technical research organized by pulling content directly into your agent's context. Cascade triggers `get_reading_list` to bring your saved articles into your current session. When you need to reference specific tags or trending topics, the server provides `get_tags` to help you find relevant content. This keeps your local development environment synced with the broader community.
