How to Use the Dext MCP in Cursor
Use Dext with Cursor to inject real accounting data into your code as you build.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Dext MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Dext to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate accounting logic in Cursor
Stop using mock data for your finance apps. This MCP Server provides live responses from `list_items_pending_review` so you can test your logic against real receipts. Your agent gets the actual JSON structure from `get_item_details`. You build features that work on day one.
Access supplier lists inside Cursor
Reference your actual supplier data while writing your codebase. Use `list_extracted_suppliers` to map your categories and ensure your logic matches your real-world accounting. Everything is dynamic. Your code reacts to the data returned by the server, not a static file.
Fetch bank and user data in Cursor
Configure your environment by pulling live lists of your bank accounts and users. Call `list_connected_bank_accounts` to see what is active in your current project scope. Use `list_accounting_clients` to toggle between different accounts. It makes testing multi-tenant features faster than ever.
