How to Use the Dialpad MCP in Cursor
Generate code that reacts to live Dialpad telephony data and manages contacts directly inside Cursor using our dedicated MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Dialpad MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Dialpad to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build apps using live Dialpad data in Cursor Agent
Cursor Agent executes `list_raw_call_logs` to inject real telephony payloads directly into your active editor tab. You write code against live API responses instead of guessing the JSON structure of your call history. This Dialpad MCP Server bridges the gap between writing code in Cursor and testing it. Your agent pulls actual metrics using `list_call_statistics` to write accurate data parsers on the first try.
Automate contact sync scripts inside Cursor
Write and debug directory sync scripts in Cursor while your agent uses `upsert_business_contact` via this MCP Server to confirm the code works against your live account. You don't need to jump to a terminal to run test scripts. The Cursor agent can clean up test data immediately by invoking `wipe_directory_entry`. It reads your local workspace files to match directory records with your actual database.
Manage your agent's presence during live debugging
Use `update_presence_status` to change your active developer status directly from the Cursor chat panel. This prevents incoming work calls from interrupting you while you are deep in a coding session. The Cursor agent checks your profile details using `get_agent_profile` to inspect your routing rules. It uses this context to keep your development workspace quiet during deployments.
