Connect Docker Hub MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Docker Hub to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
End-to-end registry creation with Cline
The `create_repository` tool enables Cline to initialize new public or private image registries on Docker Hub directly from your VS Code sidebar. When you ask Cline to package your workspace, it creates the repository, writes the local Dockerfile, and runs the build sequence without you touching a terminal. This workflow eliminates the context switching of manual registry configuration. Your agent handles the setup, allowing you to focus purely on the application logic.
Verify image tags and digests inside Cline
The `get_tag` tool retrieves specific image layer details and digests from Docker Hub so Cline can verify your local deployment files match the registry. Your agent inspects the remote image metadata and automatically updates your Kubernetes manifests or compose files with the exact SHA. This prevents mismatched image errors before they reach your CI pipeline. Cline checks the remote state, compares it to your local files, and writes the correct tags directly into your code.
Clean up stale registries using this MCP Server
The `delete_repository` tool allows Cline to remove deprecated or accidental registries from your Docker Hub account. If your project requirements change, you can instruct your agent to clean up staging repositories, and it will execute the deletion after verifying the namespace. Because this tool is destructive, Cline prompts you for confirmation before executing the call. This gives you a safety gate while letting the agent handle the heavy lifting of registry maintenance.
