How to Use the Dokku MCP in Windsurf
Use Windsurf to manage your Dokku deployments. Cascade handles the heavy lifting, from scaling processes to patching config variables.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Dokku MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Dokku to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage your App lifecycle with Windsurf
Cascade doesn't just read your code; it controls your server. You can tell it to `create_app` or `destroy_app` and watch the terminal output in real-time as the infrastructure shifts. It handles the plumbing so you don't have to SSH into the box. Whether you are spinning up new services or cleaning up old ones, the agent executes the logic directly through this MCP Server.
Scale and restart processes in Windsurf
Stop guessing if your web processes are actually running. Use `ps_scale` to adjust your container count or trigger a `ps_restart` when you need to bounce a stuck service. Cascade monitors the state change immediately. It ensures your infrastructure matches your intent without forcing you to leave the IDE.
Sync environment variables in Windsurf
Keep your runtime inputs clean by using `set_config` and `unset_config` to manage sensitive keys. Cascade can `list_config` to verify settings before pushing changes to the host. This keeps your configuration in sync with your source code. You'll see exactly what variables are active, preventing those midnight production crashes caused by missing tokens.
