…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Domo MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Domo to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Provision Domo Users Directly in Cursor
The `create_user` tool allows your Cursor editor to instantly provision new Domo accounts while you write code. Instead of leaving Cursor to open the Domo admin panel, you can let your editor handle the Domo user creation process. This tool enables Cursor to send out Domo invitation emails to your team members automatically. By integrating this MCP tool into Cursor, you can easily test Domo user onboarding flows without manual dashboard clicks.
Manage Domo Groups via Cursor MCP Server
The `create_group` tool lets you establish new Domo user groups right from the Cursor chat window. This means Cursor can organize your Domo access tiers dynamically as you develop your data pipelines. When you need to adjust Domo permissions, Cursor executes these group updates in real time. Your Cursor agent calls the Domo API directly to keep your environments synchronized during development.
Update Domo Memberships inside Cursor
The `add_user_to_group` tool enables Cursor to assign any existing Domo user to a specific data role. Cursor coordinates these assignments to ensure your Domo datasets remain secure and accessible to the right developer groups. If a developer leaves your project, Cursor uses `remove_user_from_group` to strip their Domo access immediately. This keeps your Domo security posture tight while keeping your entire Domo user management workflow inside Cursor.
