How to Use the Drift MCP in Cursor
Bring your Drift data into Cursor. Give your AI agent direct access to customer logs and contact profiles while you write code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Drift MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Drift to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject Drift conversation logs into Cursor
Stop jumping between your browser and your editor. Use `list_drift_conversations` to pull active logs directly into your chat context. When you need to debug a customer issue, `get_conversation_details` feeds the full transcript into your prompt. The AI generates code based on real user feedback instead of guesswork.
Manage Drift workflows inside Cursor
Review your active playbooks using `list_drift_playbooks` without leaving your IDE. This helps you align your code changes with current marketing automation. Use `quick_agent_availability_audit` to see if your support team is online. If you're building a feature that impacts live agents, you need to know who is active.
Sync Drift contact insights with Cursor
Pull specific contact details into your codebase using `search_contacts_by_email`. This is useful for testing integrations with real user data. `get_contact_profile` provides the full interaction history you need. You'll build better features when you can see exactly how a user has interacted with your product.
