…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Egnyte MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Egnyte to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Feed real Egnyte file structures to Cursor Agent
This Egnyte MCP Server lets Cursor inspect your cloud storage structure while you write code. Your AI agent calls `get_file_metadata` and `list_folder` to fetch live directory trees, inserting real schemas instead of placeholder variables. If you are building an integration, Cursor uses these live payloads to write accurate data parsers. You do not need to copy-paste API responses from a browser.
Create and delete Egnyte test folders inside Cursor
The Egnyte MCP Server enables direct file system manipulation during active coding sessions. Your editor runs `create_folder` and `delete_item` to set up and tear down test environments on your live domain. You can verify your file-handling scripts by asking Cursor to execute these tools. It confirms the changes immediately, shortening your feedback loop.
Manage Egnyte webhooks from your code workspace
This MCP integration exposes webhook configuration directly to your development environment. Cursor calls `list_webhooks` to inspect your active endpoints and match them against your local server setup. You can ask your agent to verify if your local receiver matches the registered webhooks on your Egnyte domain. It helps debug event-driven architectures without leaving your editor.
