How to Use the Equixly MCP in Cline
Turn Cline into an automated security engineer that pentests APIs, retrieves exploitation evidence, and writes patches directly in VS Code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Equixly MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Equixly to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Target Provisioning via Cline MCP Server
You finish writing a new REST endpoint in VS Code and tell Cline to secure it. The agent immediately calls `create_service` to register your live base URL with the Equixly MCP Server. It doesn't stop there. Cline finds your GraphQL or Postman file in the workspace and executes `upload_api_spec`. This feeds the exact schema to the pentesting engine so it knows exactly where to attack.
Active Exploitation Monitoring
You don't need to leave the editor to run a security audit. Cline uses `trigger_scan` to start an autonomous penetration test against your newly registered service via the MCP Server. The agent can monitor the progress by calling `list_scans` and `get_scan`. It reads the total requests made and the attack vectors attempted, giving you a live summary of the assault right in your VS Code sidebar.
Automated Vulnerability Patching
Finding a flaw is only half the battle. When the pentest finishes, Cline runs `get_scan_findings` to download every exploitable vulnerability, including the exact request and response evidence. Because Cline can edit files, it maps the affected HTTP method and path to your source code. It writes the remediation logic for the broken authentication or IDOR flaw, stages the commit, and shows you the diff. If the environment was temporary, it cleans up by calling `delete_service`.
