Attack Surface Mapping with the Windsurf MCP Server
Cascade doesn't just read your code; it maps your live attack surface. You ask it to secure a new backend, and Windsurf uses `create_service` to register the base URL before pulling your local OpenAPI file to run `upload_api_spec`. This gives the Equixly MCP Server the exact blueprint of your endpoints. Cascade can then run `list_api_specs` to verify the schemas match what you just built in your active editor tab.
Autonomous Pentest Execution
Instead of context-switching to a security dashboard, you tell Cascade to attack the staging environment. It executes `trigger_scan` to launch an autonomous AI pentest looking for BOLA, IDOR, and injection flaws. While you keep coding, Windsurf polls `get_scan` in the background. It watches the severity breakdown and OWASP Top 10 mapping populate as the scan explores your API routes.

The real power of this integration hits when the scan finishes. Cascade pulls the exact exploitation evidence using `get_scan_findings`. Since Windsurf has full access to your workspace, it reads the affected endpoint path from the finding, opens the vulnerable controller, and writes the patch. You just review the diff and hit accept. Once patched, it can even run `delete_service` if you were testing an ephemeral environment.

Prerequisites

Open MCP configuration
Click the Cascade assistant icon in the sidebar, then click the hammer icon (🔨) at the top of the panel. Select "Configure" to open

Add the Equixly MCP
Paste the JSON snippet shown on the right into the
mcpServersobject. Replace[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com. - 3
Refresh MCPs
Go back to the hammer icon (🔨) in Cascade and click "Refresh". Windsurf will detect the new server. No full restart is needed — the connection is hot-reloaded.

Verify in Cascade
Start a new Cascade conversation and ask something like "Show my Equixly payment history." If connected, Cascade will call the Equixly tools directly. You will see a green dot next to the server name in the MCP panel.
