Connect Europeana MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Europeana to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build with live museum metadata in Cursor
Call `search_records` to pull real-world cultural data straight into your editor. Stop relying on static mocks when you can test your UI with actual item titles and metadata. Your code benefits from the live API responses returned by the server. You can write functions that parse these results immediately as the agent generates them for your project.
Link entities directly in your editor
Use `get_entity` to resolve complex relationships between historical creators and their works. This data helps you build more accurate knowledge graphs in your application. The agent fetches these details and lets you inject them into your data structures. It simplifies the process of connecting disparate records into a coherent collection.
Sync archive data using OAI-PMH
Trigger `oaipmh_request` from your terminal or chat to pull bulk XML datasets into your local project environment. This is useful for seeding databases or generating test fixtures. Since this happens within your editor's scope, you can easily pipe the output into your parsing scripts. It keeps your development workflow tight and focused on the data.
