Chain Eventee MCP Server Data

`list_all_events` kicks off the agent's reasoning process by pulling your entire event catalog. LangChain agents can pipe that output directly into `list_currently_active_events` to filter down to what is happening right now. You do not have to write custom glue code to connect these endpoints. The ReAct architecture decides what to do next based on the live data. If an event is active, the agent automatically triggers `list_event_sessions` to pull the current schedule. Every step gets logged in LangSmith, so you see exactly how many tokens the schedule payload consumed.

Multi-Step Engagement Audits

`quick_event_engagement_audit` gives your LangChain agent a high-level summary of attendees and sessions in one shot. Instead of polling five different endpoints, the chain runs this single audit tool to check event health. That keeps your token usage low and your API rate limits intact. When the audit flags high activity, the agent can conditionally branch its logic. It might fire off `list_event_audience_questions` to grab the specific Q&A data causing the spike. You build the logic flow, and the MCP tools handle the data fetching.

Automate Speaker and Sponsor Tracking

`list_event_speakers` pulls the full roster for any specific event ID into your chain's context window. Your agent reads the speaker details and matches them against the schedule. If you need to verify sponsor placements, the agent calls `list_event_partners_and_sponsors` right after. You can connect these outputs to other integrations. A common pattern is pulling the speaker list from Eventee and piping it into a database tool within the same LangChain pipeline. The agent handles the data transformation between the two systems.

Setup guide

Set up Eventee MCP in LangChain

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • langchain-mcp-adapters + langgraph packages
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install dependencies

    Run pip install langchain-mcp-adapters langgraph langchain-openai. The MCP adapters package converts MCP tools into native LangChain BaseTool objects.

  2. 2

    Connect via HTTP transport

    Use MultiServerMCPClient with "transport": "http" pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create a ReAct agent

    Pass the discovered tools to create_react_agent() from LangGraph. The agent automatically routes Eventee tool calls through the MCP protocol.

  4. 4

    Run with any LLM

    Swap ChatOpenAI for ChatAnthropic, ChatGoogleGenerativeAI, or any LangChain-compatible model. The MCP tools work identically across all providers.

agent.py
from langchain_mcp_adapters.client import MultiServerMCPClient
from langgraph.prebuilt import create_react_agent
from langchain_openai import ChatOpenAI

async with MultiServerMCPClient({
    "eventee-mcp": {
        "transport": "http",
        "url": "https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp",
    }
}) as client:
    tools = client.get_tools()

    agent = create_react_agent(
        ChatOpenAI(model="gpt-4o"),
        tools,
    )
    result = await agent.ainvoke({
        "messages": "List recent Eventee transactions"
    })
    print(result["messages"][-1].content)

Common questions about Eventee MCP in LangChain

Install `langchain-mcp-adapters` and use `MultiServerMCPClient`. Pass your server URL and call `client.get_tools()` to feed the Eventee tools into your agent.
Yes. Your agent can run `list_currently_active_events` on a loop. It checks the live status and pulls schedule updates without manual intervention.
LangChain agents can check their own constraints. Give the agent access to `get_eventee_account_metadata` so it can verify account limits before executing heavy queries.
The MCP client is stateless by default. You need to use `client.session()` in LangChain to keep track of event IDs across multiple tool calls.
The server only processes the specific attendee records you request via `list_event_registered_attendees`. The V8 Isolate Sandbox destroys the execution environment immediately after the LangChain tool call finishes. Your attendee lists never touch disk.
